TiE-Pittsburgh membership is open to professionals & students with an interest in entrepreneurship,
either in a start-up or small business context or within a larger company. A person can become a member
by applying and paying the membership dues of $100 for a year for professionals & $25 for a year for students.
The membership is for twelve months and starts the month you register.
Membership is on individual basis and not by company. Spouses need a separate membership.
The primary benefit of membership is networking with other entrepreneurs and professionals.
Members can establish relationships that can provide them mentorship, connections to mainstream professionals,
advice, especially with respect to business planning and financing strategies, and, in some cases,
access to capital. However, TiE-Pittsburgh, as a not-for-profit organization, does not engage in
venture capital investments.
