Bhangra in the Burgh 2008 - The Bhangra in the Burgh Executive Committee of Carnegie Mellon University
in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is proud to present our second annual Bhangra (Punjabi folk dance) Competition
on November 8th, 2008. This Competition is an opportunity for different communities to come together
to showcase the best dance teams around the world. The proceeds from this competition are donated to
our local charity, the Homeless Children's Education Fund (HCEF) of Allegheny County. Due to the Competition’s
popularity, growth, and outreach, this year we hope to raise even more money for our local charity.
Bhangra in the Burgh 2008 will be held on November 8th, 2008 at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall.

Business Mentoring Roundtable - The business mentoring roundtable meets monthly and sessions are
scheduled by appointment only. Presenters must submit in advance a written executive summary of the business plan,
and be prepared to make a fifteen-minute presentation on the plan elements.
The presentation will be followed by a question and answer session. Following the discussion, a member of
the group will coordinate the group’s responses and reactions to the presentation and communicate back to
the entrepreneur. Many of TiE-Pittsburgh’s Charter Members are the panelists who assist and mentor the presenters.

Help Start Ups - is a web portal that launched on September 18, 2007,
offering entrepreneurial support to help you find resources, promote your company and connect with other entrepreneurs and their companies.
Help Startups will be hosting an event on May 6, "Where Do We Go From Here?"
The event will be held on Tuesday, May 6th, from 5:30 – 7:30 pm, at the Rivers Club.
